Expectations were low for the Rams entering the season, and why shouldn’t they be. Coming off a one-win season and starting with a rookie quarterback, pundits didn’t think the Rams would win two games all season.

They have won two games in their first four contests and it is due in large part to the maturity of rookie quarterback Sam Bradford. In his first game as a pro, Bradford fell back to attempt 55 passes! Talk about making it easy for the newbie to get into the system. Bradford has been entrusted with the keys to the offense and the results have been tremendous.

Despite a dearth of receivers (including Donnie Avery’s season-ending injury), Bradford has thrown for 944 yards and six touchdowns in four games. The competition hasn’t been great so far (Arizona, Oakland, Washington and Seattle), but I have to commend Steve Spagnuolo and the rest of the coaching staff for the improvement on this Rams team.

If I had to pick a team that won’t disappoint this week, it very well might pick the New York Jets, whose only loss to the Ravens seems like a long time ago.

Since then, the team led by Rex Ryan has managed to add victories against the Miami Dolphins, the New England Patriots and the Buffalo Bills.

His last win against the Bills this week, 38-14, was a real show of power.

However, the Saints and Ravens aren’t looking bad either and since we can’t see a definite leader in the NFL, there are still other teams that could start to show some results.

One of them is the New England Patriots who played an incredible defensive game against the Dolphins and still managed to win 41-14, thanks to players who shone like Patrick Chung.
