If you were to do a quick Google search for “Ewen Chias” or “Rookie ATM” you would come across a multitude of results saying many different things. One page may list it as a diabolical scam, and another author may claim that the product allowed him to tell his boss to “push” it within a week. Before buying the product he certainly didn’t know what to think; and I was afraid of losing my money. However, after reviewing the product, I was mostly happy, but still felt there were some elements that needed improvement.

Summary

Newbie Cash Machine by Ewen Chias is a beginner’s guide to promoting digital products on the Internet. The product mainly covers Click Bank and Commission Junction affiliate websites. The author provides step-by-step instructions for setting up an initial affiliate campaign. Low-cost strategies for promotion, such as blog writing, are also covered. SEO (search engine optimization) and pay-per-click advertising are also mentioned, but more briefly, I guess because the course is aimed at beginners. The author discusses niche markets quite a bit. The topic is covered in every way, from finding a niche market to exploiting it for profit. The author highlights many key marketing principles; how to write a sales letter, know your audience, etc. Many other tutorials, such as how-to videos, are also included in the member’s area. The book doesn’t cover much in terms of advanced internet marketing; but most would probably find this point inconsequential as the book is intended for “newbies” and such information may confuse an internet marketer who just got his feet wet. The cost of the e-course is $27. The home page says that “it can go up to $197 at any time, but from my own personal experience, prices that high are only found on the most advanced internet marketing courses. If the price were to go up, $50 or something similar would be much more likely.
Author’s opinion

advantage

Ewen Chias and his Newbie Cash Machine certainly provide value to a beginner level internet marketer. When I was getting started in “the industry”, as some experts call it; I received little help and much of what I learned was by trial and error (which was often hard on my wallet). Would you say this e-course is of value to anyone who decides to purchase it? Certainly not, any intermediate to advanced internet marketer would already be quite familiar with the strategies in this e-course. Granted, we’re all different, but I found little in the book that I didn’t already know. However, as the sales page says numerous times; the course is intended for the beginner. So someone just starting out should find the book a good value at $27.

Cons

The e-book is almost 300 pages long, which is quite long for many people. From my own experience, I’ve found that 300 pages of information can be “pretty hard” to work with. However, many of those pages are graphics; but I still found the length a bit excessive. The PDF file also contains misspellings. Of course, this does not have a negative result on the information presented, but I still found it annoying. Finally, the author provides unrealistic profit figures for a potential buyer’s first few campaigns. Some marketers may make “hundreds on day one,” but most will earn around $250-300 a week as they continue to hone their campaign management and expertise. I understand that the author lists such figures to make the course a more attractive purchase, but I remain a firm believer in full disclosure and honesty (which are sadly two qualities that are fast disappearing in today’s world).

conclusion

The Newbie Cash Machine may contain misspellings and some marketing hype, but overall it’s a solid buy for a “newbie” seller. However, like any commercial system, it will require work on the part of the buyer. Unfortunately, many people who enter the internet marketing industry are fooled into leaving their job overnight, etc. If the buyer is willing to invest time in the course and its instruction, success should follow. However, a lazy and unmotivated buyer will most likely consider the course to be a scam. Like many things in life, “you get out of it what you put into it”.
