During the 1960s, Bart Starr was one of the biggest names in football. He was the starting quarterback for the great Green Bay Packers teams of that era and will always be held in high regard by fans of the team. -No one caught more of Bart Starr’s 152 career touchdown passes than the 28 caught by Packers receiver Boyd Dowler.

-The first touchdown pass Bart Starr threw in his career came in a 17-16 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in November 1956. It was a 39-yard pass in the first quarter to Billy Howton.

-The last touchdown pass of his career was a 65-yard pass to John Hilton in the fourth quarter of a 20-12 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 6, 1970.

-Only four players caught a touchdown pass from Starr and then never caught another from him: Jack Clancy, Dave Hampton, Claudis James and Joe Johnson.

-62 of the 152 touchdown passes in Bart Starr’s total career, or just over forty percent, were thrown for 30 yards or more.
