Before I had my first LED flashlight, I was using maglites. The main difference for me is the price. I get the same or brighter light for a fraction of the price. I ordered it from china. The entire body is made of corrosion resistant anodized aluminum. The FlashMax X950 is built to be shockproof and waterproof. It comes with 2 rechargeable batteries, a battery charger for it and an English manual.
My favorite thing about the FlashMax X950 is the 5 different light settings. Low, medium and high output settings and a fast and slow flash setting to signal others. The manufacturer promises 1.5 hours of battery life at the maximum output setting and 12 hours at the low output setting. I didn’t test the battery life for every setting, but I use it every night and it has never let me down.
Now I can say that the FlashMax X950 may not be the most powerful LED flashlight, but it is the most powerful flashlight under $50.
