Have you ever noticed how much trouble you have when laundry day comes around? Every time you throw your blanket or comforter in the washing machine, there is always a surprise waiting for you when you take it out of the washing machine. Such things can range from a big hole that you can do no more than throw out your bed and get a new one, or you can come out with lots of balls of fluff. And when I saw a lot of lint balls, I mean that sometimes there can be thousands of them packed tightly into the bedding. You can try to ignore them, but if you don’t do something about it, you won’t sleep as soundly again, not to mention they make your bedding look awful.
Not all of us have lint removers and sometimes you want your bedding set to look good fast. Let’s just say that if a special someone were to come over that night, you wouldn’t want them to lie on your bed and think about how ugly and itchy they look. That’s why you need to do what you need to do to get your bedding set looking like new again. If your bedding set is covered in lint and you don’t have a lint brush, here’s what to do, first take an old bakery roller, “or a paper towel roller works too”, cover it with tape with the sticky side out. Then roll it over on your bed. You should see the lint start to shed.
This is a cheap and easy way to remove lint, but if you want to avoid it, you’ll probably want to use duvet covers. There are many beautiful duvet covers that can protect your comforter or blanket from ever getting lint, that way you can stop it before it starts to become a problem.
