‘She comes out of the mirror when I’m sleeping. We had lots of fun. ‘

“We play, we run, we scream and we scream together.”

The boy is crouched on his bed and looks down. The tiger’s back appears under the bed.

‘What should I do now? Should I call mom? What if the tiger comes out?

The boy lowers his head under the bed and sees the back of the tiger.

‘Should I go back to sleep? But I’m no longer sleepy.

Mom is standing at the door. The child lifts the blanket on one side and looks at it.

Mom leans over and pulls the tiger out from under the bed. The boy crouches with her.

‘Hey! There is no tiger.

This is my yellow and black sweater. Its buttons shine like the eyes of a tiger.

Mom stands up and shows the boy the sweater. The child sticks his tongue out with both hands under the chin.

I was scared by nothing.

The boy wears the sweater and smiles.

‘Now I will sleep and dream of real tigers in the jungle!’

Now both mother and child lie on the bed and cover themselves with the blanket. The boy smiles at Mom.
