Let’s face it: one of the most important aspects of a bachelorette party is the food and drink! Everyone needs to be well fed, especially if they are going to fill their stomachs with large amounts of alcohol.

We are going to help you and provide you with some easy recipes and snack ideas to make your party planning easier. First of all, don’t forget these 3 simple rules:

  1. Finger snacks are always your best bet, as sitting down for a full, heavy meal will most likely be not only cumbersome, but also unnecessary. Having plates scattered with different tasty snacks will be the simplest and most convenient way to feed everyone. You can even take the leftovers on your party bus with you into town to quell those enthusiastic drink-induced late-night snacks!
  2. Check beforehand if anyone in your group has allergies or food preferences – you don’t want any member of your group to starve!
  3. Make it pretty: decorate your plates or add napkins in the shape of flowers. Be creative! Delicious food is all about presentation.

First let’s talk about finger sandwiches. Some of their safe bets include cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches (some with ham for non-vegetarians), sausage rolls and samosas, and egg and mayo or chicken mayo sandwiches. Get creative if you like and make some mini tacos, little finger sticks that contain olives, cheese and cherry tomatoes and little pita breads filled with hummus and other sauces. To ensure you have a wide range of other meals, have a plate of assorted deli meats and cheeses, hard-boiled deviled eggs, mini hotdogs and burgers, and maybe some chicken thighs. Assign different bridesmaids and guests to prepare a certain portion of the dishes to ensure that one person doesn’t stay up all night making mini sandwiches and appetizers.

The fun part, where you can really get creative, is with the desserts. You can buy some fun and even phallic molds and make mini jellies. Cupcakes are great because you can bake basic vanilla cupcakes and then go crazy with the icing! Be raunchy and cover them with phallic shapes, bras, lace panties and shoes. The better you are at decorating cupcakes, the more creative you can be! You can even go as far as making a simple cake and covering it with hearts, underwear, and topping it off with a naked Ken doll. Also, don’t underestimate the blush-inducing shapes and toppings you can create for marzipan cakes and cupcakes! A new trend is to make cookies or a cake in the shape of a corset. The great thing about cookies is that you can shape them into whatever shape you want before you bake them. You’ll be amazed at the bold cookie cutters you can find there.

The idea here is to have fun and make sure that the food and the presentation of the food is a good indicator of the type of party you are going to have. Even if all of your desserts are just sprinkled in pink with little flags that say ‘bride-to-be’ (if you’re worried about being too bold), then that’s fine, as is getting super creative and tailoring your food and dessert to really scream ‘girls only’ Bachelorette party.
