I get this question all the time: “David, how do you know if a woman is attracted to you?” A lot of guys will tell me “I flirt with her, but I’m not sure she’s into me.”
One of the best indicators that a woman is receptive to your flirty words is if you can make her blush. So how do you make her blush? Is there a magic word you need to say?
Remember when you were in fifth grade and the girls were teasing a girl about a boy she liked named Robbie by saying, “You like Robbie! You like Robbie! Nah Nah Nah Nah Nah Nah!”
Let me tell you that we are no different than that boy and girl who were in love. As an adult, you want to fall in love. A crush is fun. If you like it, you can blush.
So how do you make a little girl blush, or more importantly how to make a big girl blush? You need to tease her playfully. Maybe you start by finding out something about her and teasing her about it.
I once knew a woman who was a Virgo. When she told me she was a Virgo, I said, “Forget it. Conversation over. I don’t date Virgo. You think too much.” He was joking with her. So, for the rest of the conversation, I proceeded to tease her a few more times about other things.
It’s funny though, because the topic of conversation kept coming back to how Virgos think too much and don’t like to change. He kept defending himself and saying that it was a change. In fact, I have no idea if Virgo doesn’t like change.
The bottom line is this: when flirting with women, you want to mix things up. You want funny jokes, but you also want to know who they are and what motivates them. That’s called information gathering.
During a three-minute conversation I had with a woman while my friend was shopping for clothes, I was able to find out a lot about her. Not superficial things, real things.
I found out where she grew up, what she liked as a child, and that she was shy as a child (for which, of course, I made fun of her). The conversation was about learning what she likes to explore and do.
Instead of objectifying her like most men do, I met her while my friend was out shopping. Women want to meet men, but they don’t want to feel like they’ve just been picked up by a pick-up artist. So now most of you would like to know how I closed it when we finished shopping.
This is the thing about shutting someone down. If you pay attention to what they say, if you are interested in who they are and if you mix them with fun and playful flirtation… then they are already closed.
If they are already closed, it means that they have already secretly fallen in love with you. If a woman has secretly fallen in love with you and you ask her out in a fun way, she will blush.
So how did I ask this woman out? She’s new to Los Angeles and she told me she has 2.5 friends here so I looked at her and said, “You really need more than 2.5 friends. I’ll give you a tour of Los Angeles and show you all the places you’ve been to “. she had never been (which she knew because she had already asked her).” She then gave me her phone number and as she did, she blushed.
That’s how you make a woman blush. You do this by being playful and fun, and inviting her out of it by using things that she has already told you during the conversation.
By the way, I made another woman blush earlier that day. I jokingly told her that her dog didn’t find me attractive, but she walked out of the conversation too quickly because she was shy and because I was teasing her. However, when she kicked out of it, she turned red…and blushed.
