Do you like poultry? Or do you prefer fish?

It mainly depends on what you prefer. Is your food preferably made from fish or meat? One of them is probably the base of your dinner, unless you don’t eat meat at all.

Both animals will provide you with good quality protein.

Turkey is not as generous in protein as tuna.

A 150 gram serving of turkey will provide you with approximately 22 grams of protein. This protein is good enough for building muscle and can be used for body maintenance. It will not turn to fat.

As an adult, you need 2.2 grams of protein for every pound of body weight. So you can calculate how much protein you need to eat every day.

On the other hand, the tuna will provide much more protein. In fact, a one-hundred-gram serving will provide you with 26 grams of high-quality protein.

However, you have to be careful and choose good brands. Not all brands can guarantee excellent quality. Some products can be fattier than others. And you don’t want that fat but just complete protein.

If the price is low, the quality will probably be low as well. Don’t buy fat instead of protein!

The good news is that both turkey and tuna will provide complete protein. Incomplete proteins are provided by vegetables, fruits, nuts, and cereals.

What is the difference? Complete proteins contain all the amino acids necessary to develop new proteins in your body. Incomplete proteins lack one or more amino acids. They cannot create new proteins.

It depends on you. Prefers meat, eats turkey. He prefers fish, he eats tuna. Never overeat protein. That is true for poultry and fish.

If your body gets too much protein, it will store it as fat. And transform them even into sugar.

Complete proteins are slowly digested in the tract between the stomach and the intestines. This is good news because you don’t get hungry after having eaten one or the other, which is turkey or tuna. You have a feeling of a full stomach without this showing up as heaviness.

This helps you stay lean, with lean muscles, and good overall strength.
